For 32 years, my father served the nation as a Gunner in the Indian Army — serving as a Gunner in the 19 Air Defence Artillery Regiment. His duty was to watch the skies and shield the nation from threats most people never even saw coming. During his service he was also deployed in Jammu & Kashmir with the 35 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) at Budgam — a unit renowned across the nation for its courage in counter-insurgency operations in some of India's most challenging terrain. From guarding the skies to securing the ground, his career demanded constant vigilance, split-second precision, and absolute reliability. He lived by the values that define every great soldier: Discipline. Integrity. Courage. Service Before Self.

When his military service concluded, his mission did not. The same instinct that once guarded India's skies — vigilance that never sleeps — became the foundation of a new mission. In 2020, he founded SVS Care to bring the precision, accountability, and operational excellence of Army Air Defence to the people and places that power modern India.

Today, safeguarding India means more than securing its borders. It means maintaining the hospitals that save lives, the workplaces that create opportunities, the industries that drive growth, the communities that shelter families, and the homes that form the foundation of our society.

Inspired by this vision, his son carried the dream across continents. Balaji Bharath Kumar is a Dual Master's degree holder in International Business Management — earned from two of the world's most prestigious, globally ranked universities spanning two nations: Technische Universität Dresden, Germany and Technická univerzita v Liberci, Czech Republic. Having travelled through more than 30 countries for global business exposure, he witnessed firsthand how world-class nations are built — not merely through infrastructure, but through disciplined systems, professional services, and empowered people.
